Bastion Launches Bug Bounty Program with Immunefi to Strengthen Protocol Security
Bastion will host a bug bounty program on Immunefi, DeFi’s leading bug bounty and security services platform.
The program is focused on the wider open-source security community to hunt for potential exploits within Bastion, protecting users’ funds. Rewards will be based on Immunefi’s tiered classification system with separate scales for websites/apps and smart contracts/blockchains. The collaboration will focus on the key areas of reentrancy attacks, potential EVM logic error, block timestamp manipulation and other oracle related vulnerabilities.
Immunefi has helped prevent some of the largest potential protocol exploits in history, including seven-figure bounties issued by Wormhole and Aurora. Incentivizing white-hat efforts from the security community through open-source, transparent bug bounties is instrumental in the DeRisking DeFi approach outlined by Electric Capital.
Immunefi is the leading bug bounty and security services platform for DeFi, where projects secure their code and white hats keep funds safe. Immunefi protects billions in user funds and has paid out millions of dollars in bug bounties, including the biggest bug bounty in history. Immunefi’s community of proven white hat hackers, war room and crisis management expertise, and industry-leading secure disclosure platform make Immunefi a core part of the security stack for DeFi’s leading projects, such as Aurora, Synthetix, Aave, and Wormhole.
Bastion is a Lending and Stableswap protocol built on Aurora, NEAR’s EVM-compatible layer. The project innovates with novel features such as: isolated markets, interest rate swaps, increased receipt token utility, veTokens, gauges, and boosters. Building on Aurora enables Bastion to create an autonomous interest-rate engine with superior capital efficiency, low slippage swaps, fast transactions, ultra-low fees, precise liquidations, and harness the underlying UX benefits of NEAR.
